Repair and network work starts with a free diagnosis. You'll get a real cost estimate based on what's actually wrong before any repair work begins or any charge is made. If a machine or issue isn't worth fixing, we'll tell you that instead of proceeding.
Repair work, especially anything involving a failing drive, always carries some risk of data loss. Back up anything you can't afford to lose before bringing in a device, if it's possible to do so. We take reasonable care with your data and hardware, but we are not liable for data loss that occurs during diagnosis or repair, particularly on hardware that was already failing.
Network work (router/firewall configuration, WiFi setup, device setup) is performed based on the equipment and layout present at the time of service. Changes made later by you, your ISP, or a third party to that equipment or network may affect the configuration we set up; a follow-up visit to address that is a separate service, not a defect in the original work.
Website design, hosting, and maintenance work is scoped and agreed to before work begins. Hosting and maintenance are ongoing services, billed as agreed, and can be discontinued by either party with reasonable notice. We are not responsible for downtime or issues caused by third-party services outside our control (domain registrars, DNS providers, upstream internet outages).
Payment terms and methods are agreed to directly with each customer before work begins. There are no hidden fees - if the scope of work changes once we're already in progress, you'll be told before any additional charge is made.
To the extent permitted by law, Riha Technology's liability for any claim related to services provided is limited to the amount paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska.
